After my Venice Travel Guide, I thought I show you one of my outfits from our trip, that I wore exploring the city. Shortly before we left for Europe, I discovered this beautiful, floral Kimono on Zara.com and just had to get it. I thought is was the perfect piece to just throw over and look “done” without having to put too much thought into an outfit and it also reminded me of the royal, luxurious times in medieval Venice. It was the perfect piece for a warm day under the Italian sun and was also super practical because I was “church ready” so to say, with my shoulders and knees covered, which is required when you go to r.g. St. Mark’s Cathedral.
Honestly, a kimono is just such a fun piece for spring and summer. It flows, it is airy, just so special and gives you such a luxurious feeling. It has been love at first sight and I have been obsessed with my new Zara Kimono ever since. I probably wore it a bit too much, to be completely honest with you – haha! But hey… a little extravaganza in everyday life never hurt nobody, am I right?!
