Fall is calling & that means a whole lot of new collections full of boots, capes, sweaters and cozy knits. And since I am all out of beach outfits now, I thought it would be the perfect time for some fall inspiration on the Blog. Today, I want to show you 5 Fashion Trends to Try this Fall. Trends, that aren’t too crazy and wearable for everybody.
You know me, I am a pretty practical kinda gal. I love fashion and getting dressed up, but not to the point where I can’t do all the things on my to do list anymore. The following trends are definitely not too over the top and worth a try!
Capes & Ponchos
I saw a quote the other day that said: We are officially in that annoying time, when in the morning you have to wear a sweater, but half way through the day you sweat like crazy. The solution: Layering. The beauty of it is, that you don’t have to wear a thick jacket just yet. You can go crazy with lots of different capes & ponchos in different colors and pattern.
Hats & Beanies
Just like capes & ponchos – hats & beanies are definitely a must have for fall. A major positive: they are great for covering up a bad hair day. Simply put a beanie or hat on and you are good to go and no one will ever know. In addition to that, they also add a certain something, something to every outfit. Jeans and a sweater might look boring, but combined with a hat they looks quite fashionable!
Bow Blouses
This one is definitely new this year: the Bow Blouse Trend. At first I was quite hesitant, but the more I see these white blouses with black bows everywhere, the more I am liking them. They are classy & chic and you can combine them in so many different ways. Definitely worth a try!
Overknees
The sexy version of a boot: over the knee boots. They make your legs look extremely long, which is great for those among us, who are not that tall by nature, but would like to feel like a long legged goddess every now and then. In addition, they really give you lots of options to wear shorts & skirts without looking too bare legged or inappropriate. So far, I have never found perfect overknee boots, but this year, I am finally going to try this trend!
Dark Lipstick
This one – and let’s be honest, almost all of these trends – aren’t new, but that doesn’t mean that they are not worth mentioning. Fall ist the perfect season to finally try out those berry lip colors. An oldie, but goldie is definitely , but they are tons of other options out there. Just keep in mind, that when wearing a dark lip, it is often good to pair it with a lipliner to get a nice clean look!
What are your favourite trends for fall or which one have you decided to give a try this year?

September 15, 2015 at 5:36 pmI am only participating in one of these fall trends today: the bow blouse. I certainly need to get myself some dark lipstick and a poncho or two. I love your blog by the way. Beautiful.
