Checked Blazers are definitely the trend piece this fall season. Every fashion enthusiast & blogger seems to have one all of a sudden. A trend that is certainly nothing new, because every fall season checked prints come back into play, but this season there is definitely no way around them.
I have to say these Blazers always remind me of British elegance meets literature teacher with a touch of “I work at a museum” – they just have that certain vibe of sophistication, which I absolutely love.
To tell you a fun little story, this blazer I am wearing in this post is probably about 8 years old, or even older but since it is such a timeless piece, I could never get myself to get rid it – and rightfully so! This is my first “everything is coming back into style, if you just wait long enough”-moment and Grandmother Vivienne couldn’t be any prouder! I actually had a pair of matching trousers, high waisted, that I donated years ago and it now drives me insane, because they were perfect. But a the time I thought they were just a little too much. Silly me, I definitely learned my lesson! Wait long enough and you are going to be the most stylish girl out there :)

When it comes to styling, checked blazers couldn’t be easier because they look best, when the rest of the outfit is kept pretty simple. You can go all checked, which is definitely very on trend right now – or you could pair them with black pants or even jeans, like I did, to give your checked blazer a more effortless casual look. Keep it simple and you are good to go!

Was für ein toller Look – steht dir hervorragend. Und wie lustig, dass der Blazer schon so alt ist. Steht dir aber so unglaublich gut – den würd ich auch nicht weggeben.
